What cookies are
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to retain and return with later requests. Browser storage such as localStorage is a separate mechanism that can also retain information between visits. Both differ from temporary page memory, a downloaded document or text copied to a device clipboard.
What the page functions use
| Function | Mechanism | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Navigation and scroll reveals | Temporary page state | Not deliberately retained between visits |
| Property-context draft | Form fields and page memory | Not saved by the tool; browser restoration may retain values |
| Copy draft | Device clipboard, after your action | Controlled by your device and clipboard settings |
| Download .txt | A file saved after your action | Remains until you remove it |
Tracking and third-party resources
The supplied page code includes no analytics tags, advertising pixels, embedded third-party videos or external font requests. Images are requested as local website assets. External references are ordinary links: following one opens the other provider's service, where its own storage and privacy rules apply.
Hosting infrastructure or separately provided platform features can have their own technical behavior. Any additional storage introduced by such a feature should be explained in the notice accompanying that feature. This page describes the fieldbook's own navigation, editorial pages and draft tool.
Your browser controls
You can inspect and remove cookies and site storage through your browser's privacy or site-information settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent the supplied editorial pages or local draft tool from functioning. Clipboard access may require a secure connection and browser permission; if unavailable, the tool lets you select the draft for manual copying.
Deleting site data does not delete a downloaded text file or copies you have shared. Remove those separately. On a shared device, review browser autofill and restoration settings, clear clipboard content as appropriate and delete unwanted downloads.
